and I’m in shock. I knew it could do that, but I don’t know what I did to make it happen. It has a very cultured woman’s voice, not mine. It said, "Please type your message in the text box and let me say it." There was no text box and why would I want to hear it anyway if I could type it in? Eli, any ideas?
I just found your post as I was googling to find out why my computer was talking to me…
I don’t know if you ever figured it out, but it turns out it’s an ad promoting a company called Sitepal that makes talking avatars. You’re supposed to give it a try by typing in your message to hear the avatar talk.
I’ve had the voice happen several times, but I didn’t always have the same web pages open so thought it couldn’t be the browser. I never thought to look at the ads.
um… a time-release notification of a kitchy feature? you should try it out!
Sorry I took so long. I think I just must have missed this post. Right now I’m just waiting for something to download š

That sounds freaky about the computer. Glad your trip was wonderful for art…I am hoping to see more here in Chattanooga…this is a very artsy town…have you been here before? I am pleasantly surprised so far. Hope all is well, as I have enjoyed catching up regarding your trip.
